Intro to Digital Photography
Date/Time: June 24, 9am-1pm
This workshop covers the basic concepts and practice of digital photography, including understanding and use of the camera, lenses, and introduction to post production in Adobe Photoshop + Lightroom. The workshop will address aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, space, exposure, light and color. Participants will begin to develop proper workflow and file management as they create a base for an ongoing photographic practice.
The workshop will be held at Zachary P. Stephens' studio at 201 Flat Street in Brattleboro, VT.
- A digital camera (DSLR or Mirrorless Camera preferred)
- Laptop with subscription to Adobe Photoshop + Lightroom (subscription info here)
- Learn the basic operation of DSLR cameras.
- Learn to download and edit photos in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
This class is for beginners who are interested in learning the basics of digital photography and looking to develop a professional workflow. The workshop is limited to 4 participants.
